Single extension to the rear & internal refurb

In order to create a vast, open plan family space to the rear of the house, we built a single storey extension complete with an atrium roof lantern, to fill the space with natural light. We removed a number of internal walls, involving a lot of steelwork.

This created a space large enough to house a new fitted kitchen, den and dining area with a separate utility room and access to the garage. Large bifold doors enhance the sense of space, allowing the indoors to flow into the garden seamlessly. The outcome is a really fabulous space, if we do say so ourselves.
